The complication we see most in Oak Ridge isn't the roller itself - it's what a bad roller does to the track before anyone notices. A roller that's worn unevenly can walk sideways in the channel and bow the track slightly, and once the track is bowed even a brand-new roller won't ride smooth in it. At that point the job isn't a roller swap anymore, it's a track realignment or a track section replacement, and we'll say so rather than install new rollers into bent rail and let you call us back in a month. On a door original to a 1997 build, we also sometimes find the track gauge or mounting spacing doesn't match current stock hardware exactly, which can add a bracket or two to the job. Given the income range here, we find most owners would rather hear the real scope up front and approve it than have us quietly undercharge and underfix it.
